Anti-ship mine destroyed off coast of Odesa region

The Ukrainian Navy has destroyed another anti-ship mine off the coast of the Odesa region.

The Ukrainian Navy published a respective video on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to the report, the anti-ship mine thrown ashore was discovered off the coast of the Odesa region.

"Thanks to the professional actions of a Ukrainian Navy unit, the mine was promptly neutralized on the spot through a controlled explosion," the post reads.

The Ukrainian Navy recalled that the coast and coastal waters of the Black Sea remain a rather dangerous zone precisely because of the threat of mines, including during a storm.
