Russian troops fire 514 shells on Kherson region in past 24 hours, killing two

Russian troops have launched 95 shelling attacks on the Kherson region in the past 24 hours, killing two people.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the regional military administration, announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 95 shelling attacks, firing 514 shells from mortars, artillery, Grads, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy fired 46 shells on the city of Kherson," he said.

According to Prokudin, Russia launched 42 KAB bomb strikes on settlements in the Kherson region, including in the Beryslav and Kherson districts.

He said that the Russian military had targeted populated areas, the premises of a medical institution, the territory of an educational institution in the Beryslav district, and a community center in Kherson.

Two people were killed and four others injured as a result of Russian aggression, Prokudin added.
