The Russian army shelled Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, killing a local resident.

Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy hit Nikopol again. A 59-year-old man was killed," Lysak wrote.

According to him, two private houses and a car, a power line and a gas pipeline were damaged in the city.

As reported, the Russian army shelled Nikopol region five times on Friday, August 25.
