National Guard members destroy Russian APC in Zaporizhzhia direction

An enemy armored personnel carrier (APC) has been destroyed by Ukrainian defenders from the Spartan Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

The relevant statement was made by Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Oleksandr Pivnenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Spartan Brigade has detected and destroyed an armored personnel carrier of Russian invaders in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The brigade’s aerial reconnaissance units spotted the movement of the enemy APC. Having received the coordinates, in the shortest possible time, our fighters aimed at the target and smashed it with the D-30 howitzer,” Pivnenko wrote.

A reminder that Deputy Director of the Planning Department at the Main Directorate of the National Guard of Ukraine (NGU), Colonel Mykola Urshalovych stated earlier that the NGU’s artillerymen had completed about 800 fire missions in the Lyman, Melitopol and Kherson directions within a week.
