Ihnat on possibility of shelling on August 24: danger of Russian attacks exists every day

The danger of Russian attacks on Ukrainian territories exists every day.

This was stated by Yurii Ihnat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the air of the 'United News' telethon, answering the question of how Ukrainians can protect themselves on Independence Day, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"As for the enemy attacks, every day is dangerous for us, there is a lurking danger. Ships from the Black Sea are not going away, nor are strategic aviation aircraft or drones. Yes, they plan their strikes in advance, but the enemy needs little time to prepare them," he said.

According to him, all people need to know and do is not to be indifferent and take care of their lives and those around them.

"The enemy is insidious, often striking at civilian targets where it would seem that there is no logic in hitting with precision missiles. But they do it anyway. That is why we need to be careful and be careful again - today and on any other day," advises Ihnat.
