Russian missile attack damages civilian objects in eight regions - PM Shmyhal

Another Russian missile attack on Ukraine damaged civilian objects in eight regions.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Another Russian massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities. Civilian objects in eight regions were damaged. Among them: residential buildings, educational institutions, a hospital," Shmyhal wrote.

The Prime Minister stressed that, unfortunately, there are injured and killed civilians.

"My sincere condolences to the families," he wrote.

Firefighters and rescuers are working at the scene. In total, almost 200 people from the State Emergency Service have been involved.

"We are grateful to the Air Defense Forces that shot down most of the missiles at night and prevented even greater casualties and damage," the Prime Minister wrote.

Shmyhal stressed that Russian terrorists will definitely be brought to justice, and Russia will pay for everything.

As reported, on the night of August 15, an air alert was announced throughout Ukraine due to the launch of cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea region.

In Dnipro, Russians hit an enterprise, a fire broke out, and one person was injured. Missile hits were also recorded in Lutsk city, Lviv and Cherkasy regions.
