Russian artillery hits kindergarten in Kherson - local administration

Russian forces shelled a childcare facility in the city of Kherson in southern Ukraine.

That’s according to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

“As a result of the shelling, a 75-year-old locksmith sustained minor injuries,” the report reads.

He is now receiving the necessary medical assistance.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Russian army launched 66 strikes at Kherson region in the past day, August 8, wounding two civilians.
