Zelensky: Russia may be left without ships if it continues to attack Ukrainian ports

The Russian Federation will be left without ships until the end of the war if it continues to attack Ukrainian ports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said this in an interview with Latin American media, La Nacion reports.

As Zelensky noted, Moscow blocked the Black Sea, in particular the territorial waters of Ukraine. Therefore, our country must now prove that it has the right to import and export goods in its own territorial waters.

"If Russia continues to dominate the Black Sea and block it with missiles, then Ukraine will do the same, which is a fair defense of our capabilities. If they continue to shoot, we don't have many weapons, but if they continue to shoot, they may be left without ships until the end of the war. And this is what we want to show them," Zelensky emphasized.

According to him, now the Russian occupiers cannot win, so they want to put Ukraine in a stalemate by using weapons and violence. "Therefore, Ukraine will definitely respond to any attacks on the civilian population and grain corridors," Zelensky emphasized.

The President emphasized that Moscow was trying to pursue a policy of colonization of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov but it had no right to decide what Ukraine can produce and export.

As reported, Russia attacked the southern regions of Odesa region with combat drones. As a result of the Russian attacks, fires broke out at the port facilities and industrial infrastructure, and an elevator was damaged.

It is noted that the UAVs were launched from the Sea of Azov through the Black Sea.

The soldiers from the Operational Command "South" added that the enemy was specifically trying to destroy the port infrastructure on the Danube, hitting both the elevator and a granary.
