Russian artillery shells Ochakiv twice in past day

Yesterday, on August 6, Russian troops twice fired artillery at Ochakiv in Mykolaiv region.

Head of the Regional Military Administration Vitaliy Kim reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"At 10:11 and 11:35, enemy artillery opened fire at the town of Ochakiv,” the official wrote, adding that no casualties were reported.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaiske, Voznesensk, and Bashtanka districts, the past 24 hours passed relatively calmly, Kim noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the enemy forces launched 30 missile and 52 air strikes, and fired off 75 rocket salvos at the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. A number of civilians were killed and wounded. Residential buildings and other infrastructure sustained damage.
