In the Donetsk region, six civilians have been injured, including three children, in Russia’s shelling of Kostiantynivka. One child was reported killed.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Initially, four children were reported injured: three girls, aged 5, 11 and 12, and one boy, 11. Sadly, one of them was in critical condition and later died.

According to Kyrylenko, around 07:00 p.m., July 24, 2023, Russian troops shelled a local reservoir, where people were taking rest at the coast. The enemy fired cluster munitions from the Smerch multiple launch rocket system (MLRS).

Kyrylenko once again urged local residents to evacuate children from the area of hostilities.
