Russian army attacks Zaporizhzhia

The Russian army has launched a missile strike on Ukraine's southern city of Zaporizhzhia, hitting an infrastructure facility.

Zaporizhzhia region governor Yurii Malashko reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"S-300 [missiles] hit an infrastructure facility in a city of many thousands in the middle of the day. One of the buildings caught fire. Specialists are working to eliminate the consequences of shelling," Malashko wrote.

He added that residents of the city were not injured.
