Russians hit three communities in Sumy region with mortars

At night, the Russians shelled three border communities in Sumy region with mortars and automatic grenade launchers.

"At night and in the morning, the Russians launched three strikes on the border areas. Twenty-five explosions were recorded. Krasnopillia, Khotin, and Yunakivka communities came under fire," the Sumy Regional Military Administration posted on Telegram.

As noted, Yunakivka community was shelled with automatic grenade launchers (15 explosions).

"️Khotin community: the enemy fired a mortar (two explosions). Krasnopillia community: a mortar attack (eight explosions)," the report says.

According to preliminary information, nobody was injured and civilian infrastructure was not damaged.

As reported, yesterday, July 5, the Russians launched 36 strikes on the border areas. A total of 279 explosions were recorded. Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Znob-Novhorodske, Krasnopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Khotin communities came under fire.
