Ukraine's Air Force spox says enemy accumulating missiles for 'some more insidious intentions'

Missile strikes on Ukraine have somewhat "calmed down," which may indicate that the enemy is accumulating resources for a new strike.

Ukraine's Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat said this on Ukrainian television, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The enemy is likely accumulating and storing something for some more insidious intentions. One can only guess what is going through their minds after the events that happened in Russia. They suffered a serious blow in the domestic political arena, so they may be recovering. [...] Now there are air raid alerts on the map are related to tactical aircraft, many planes are attacking Ukraine. They do this every day," he said.

He noted that the activity of enemy tactical aircraft is recorded constantly. On the front lines, in the past few months, the occupiers have been using guided bombs daily.

Nataliia Humeniuk, the spokesperson for the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine, said earlier that there were signs of Russia's probable preparations for missile strikes.
