Two killed in Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia region on June 12

Russian troops shelled Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region 85 times on Monday, June 12, killing two people.

Zaporizhzhia region governor Yurii Malashko said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.

"Over the last 24 hours, the enemy took the lives of two residents of the region. Two more were injured and are in medical facilities," he wrote.

Malashko added that in the evening the enemy fired at Zaliznychne. A 44-year-old man was killed in his apartment. In Huliaipole, a 64-year-old woman sustained mine blast injuries.

In total, over the past day, the enemy mounted 85 attacks on 14 settlements, using aircraft, UAVs and MLRS in Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Olhivske and artillery in Novoandriivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Kamianske, Stepove and others frontline villages.
