Russian troops shell Kherson - attack coast

Russian troops are shelling the city of Kherson.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Russians are shelling Kherson again," Prokudin wrote.

According to the head of the Regional Military Administration, the invaders are shooting at the coastal areas.

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of June 6, Russian troops blew up the Kakhovka HPP. Part of Kherson and 80 other settlements were flooded. Evacuation of people from dangerous places was organized on the right bank of the region.

An SSU interception confirms that the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant was blown up by a Russian sabotage group.

On June 8, during the shelling of Kherson by Russians during the evacuation of civilians, nine people were injured, including two employees of the State Emergency Service, a policeman, a doctor and a volunteer from Germany.
