Kryvyi Rih fed by reservoir that not being replenished - people asked to save water

The water utility in Kryvyi Rih is operating normally, but water supply from the Southern Reservoir is being carried out on a backup basis.

Oleksandr Vilkul, the head of the Khryvyi Rih Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The city water utility is operating normally, water is supplied to all districts of the city, and the water quality is under expert control. However, water supply from the Southern Reservoir is carried out on reserves. We are responsible for consumption, do not forget about the need for maximum savings," Vilkul wrote.

According to him, important infrastructure, public transport, social and medical institutions in the city are working steadily.

As reported, due to a drop in the water level in the Kakhovka reservoir, Kakhovka water stopped flowing into the Pivdenne reservoir. The Pivdenne Reservoir itself has accumulated a supply that will last for 1.5 months.
