Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk comes under Russian strikes

The Russian army shelled four districts of Kharkiv region over the past day, injuring three people. In the morning, the Russians attacked Kupiansk.

Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At 06:00 today, the Russians shelled Kupiansk. Residential buildings, garages, and farm buildings were damaged. There were no casualties," the report says.

In the past 24 hours, the enemy fired artillery, mortars, and rocket weapons at settlements in Kharkiv, Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv districts.

Yesterday evening, invaders launched missile attacks from territory of the Russian Federation on the city of Chuhuiv. Houses and commercial buildings were damaged. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.

A 40-year-old civilian man and a 38-year-old woman were injured in the village of Zolochiv, Bohodukhiv district, and the building of a children's sports school was damaged.

A forest fire broke out in Kupiansk district due to enemy shelling. A private residential building was damaged in the village of Pishchane, a 58-year-old woman was injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, on June 4, Chuhuiv, Kupiansk and Bohodukhiv district prosecutor's offices of Kharkiv region launched pre-trial investigations into violations of the laws and customs of war by the Russian Federation.
