Enemy launches four attacks on border areas of Sumy, Chernihiv regions

On Sunday, June 4, Russian troops shelled the border areas of Sumy and Chernihiv regions with mortars and artillery four times.

“From 07:00 to 07:20, 15 strikes, probably from 120mm mortars, were recorded in the area of Karpovychi village.

From 11:00 to 12:05, 28 strikes, probably from tube artillery, on Znob-Novrohodske village were recorded.

From 14:10 to 14:20, the invaders fired three shots, probably from 120mm mortar, in the area of Brusky village. From 15:10 to 15:30, six more shots, probably from the same weapon, were fired in the area of the same settlement,” the Operational Command “North” posted on Telegram.

No civilian casualties or damage to civilian infrastructure have been reported.

As reported, border guards destroyed two Shahed enemy drones and neutralized another one in Chernihiv and Sumy regions on the night of June 4.
