Almost 40 kindergartens hit by Russian shelling in Mykolaiv

In Mykolaiv, 37 kindergartens have been damaged as a result of Russian strikes.

That’s according to the Mykolaiv City Council, Ukrinform reports.

"Windows and doors were broken in kindergartens, roofs, fences, and playgrounds were destroyed. Despite the fact that combat operations are still underway, the city has begun to restore damaged buildings," the report says.

In particular, in late May, work started in one of the kindergartens in the Korabelnyi district. Builders will replace broken windows with modern energy-saving windows with child safety locks. New doors will also be installed.
