Forced evacuation of children announced in seven settlements of Donetsk region

Forced evacuation of children has been announced in seven settlements of the Donetsk region.

The Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Today, under the chairmanship of Vice Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk, a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law was held. The members of the Coordination Headquarters unanimously supported the decision of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration to announce the mandatory evacuation of 239 children from 7 settlements of the Donetsk region, where the security situation remains critical," the statement said.

Forced evacuation of children will be carried out in the town of Zalizne, the villages of New York and Pivnichne,  Kostyantynivka, Ivanopillya, Mykolaivka and Podolske.

Evacuated children accompanied by a parent or legal guardian will be provided with free shelter, social guarantees, humanitarian aid and psychological support.

The Ministry of Reintegration urges not to neglect your own and your children's safety and immediately evacuate to safer regions.
