AFU suspends traffic in Bakhmut suburb to perform military tasks - Malyar

The Russian army is replacing and regrouping in the Bakhmut sector. Ukrainian defense forces have suspended their movement to perform other military tasks.

Hanna Malyar, the Deputy Minister of Defence, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"The enemy is not conducting any offensive actions in the Bakhmut direction. However, it continues shelling and air strikes. Moreover, enemy troops are being replaced and regrouped in this direction," noted Malyar.

Ukrainian forces control the southwestern outskirts of Bakhmut.

"In the north and south of the Bakhmut suburbs, the movement of our troops was suspended a few days ago to perform other military tasks. They are actually fulfilling them," emphasised Malyar.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, there were no firefights in the Bakhmut direction over the last day. As a result of the shelling by the Defence Forces of the Wagner group, which is retreating from the city, 80 invaders were killed and 119 wounded.
