Two killed, five injured in Russia’s shelling of Donetsk region

Two civilians have been killed and five injured in Russia’s shelling of the Donetsk region over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Donetsk Regional Military Administration Head Pavlo Kyrylenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“On May 26, 2023, Russians killed two civilians in the Donetsk region, namely in Vasiukivka and Chasiv Yar. Five more people were injured,” Kyrylenko wrote.

Additionally, it is now impossible to count the exact number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha, Kyrylenko noted.

A reminder that a total of 128 children have been mandatory evacuated from the Donetsk region’s settlements, where hostilities are underway. Eight more children are remaining within the war-torn settlements, including four in Bakhmut and one in Avdiivka.
