Equipment for assault brigades, situation at front: Zelensky holds Supreme CinC Staff meeting

President Volodymyr Zelensky chaired another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the operational situation at the front and the pace of providing the assault brigades with necessary equipment.

Zelensky announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“I held another meeting of the Staff. Commanders of the united strategic grouping of troops reported on the operational situation at the front and in certain directions. The members of the Staff reviewed in detail the pace of providing the assault brigades with equipment and everything necessary. We analyzed the prospects for increasing the domestic production of scarce ammunition," the President wrote.

The members of the Staff also discussed the latest enemy airstrikes on Ukrainian cities and how to make defense against them more effective.

"We continue to move towards very important steps," concluded Zelensky.

As Ukrinform reported, May 27 was declared a day of mourning in Dnipro for those killed in the missile attack on one of the city's hospitals. On the morning of May 26, the Russians launched a missile attack on Dnipro city, hitting a healthcare facility that provides support to people with mental illnesses and a veterinary clinic. A fire broke out on an area of 1,200 square meters. It has been already extinguished.

According to the regional prosecutor's office, the number of those injured in the morning missile attack has increased to 31.
