Russians shell Nikopol with heavy artillery, damaging houses, power lines and gas pipelines

The Russian forces launched another attack on Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk region, using heavy artillery. Civilian facilities have been damaged.

The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration wrote this on Facebook, referring to the regional department of the State Emergency Service.

"None of the residents was injured. However, the property was mutilated," the administration said.

In the city, seven private residential buildings, the same number of commercial buildings and a car were damaged by Russian shelling. A garage and summer kitchen on the territory of a private residential building caught fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

As a result of enemy attacks, three power lines and four gas pipelines were damaged, and a support structure for solar panels was broken.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian invaders attacked Nikopol and Marhanets community, Dnipropetrovsk region, on May 23.
