Russian forces mining Dnipro’s left bank on Zaporizhzhia axis

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian invaders are undertaking the so-called active defense measures, mining the left bank of the Dnipro, Ukraine’s main water artery.

That’s according to Valeriy Shershen, the spokesman for the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces, who spoke at the national telethon, Ukrinform reports.

"In the direction of Zaporizhzhia, Russian invaders are on the so-called active defensive in the Novopavlivska and Orihivska districts. In addition to actively mining on the left bank of the Dnipro, they are installing anti-boat barricades as we’ve been observing," said Shershen.
