Part of Zaporizhzhia is without electricity

There has been an accident at one of the critical infrastructure facilities in Zaporizhzhia. As a result, a part of the city remains without electricity.

Yuriy Malashko,  the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported this on  Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Stay calm! The power supply issues in the regional center are not related to enemy shelling. There was a fire due to an overload in the power system at one of the facilities," he wrote.

According to him, the protection system at the facility was activated. The cause is being investigated, and specialists are working on restoring the services.

As reported earlier,  during an air raid siren at night, residents in certain areas of the city heard the sounds of explosions.
