Russians shell Kherson region 57 times in past 24 hrs, killing local man

In the past day, Russian troops conducted 57 strikes targeting Kherson region, killing a civilian.

That’s according to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

The official says that over the past day, the enemy carried out 57 attacks, firing 318 rounds employing heavy artillery, Grad MLR systems, tanks, UAVs, and aviation. The Russians shelled Kherson four times, firing off 22 rounds.

"The Russian military targeted the residential quarters of the populaces across the region, as well as the objects of social and critical infrastructure in Beryslav district. Russian aggression killed one person," head of the RMA emphasized.

Prokudin added that another 79 people were evacuated from the area earlier liberated from the Russian invasion troops.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, a 55-year-old resident of the village of Kozatske died as a result of Russian shelling in Kherson region.
