Dnipro withstands Russian missile barrage - administration chief

Thanks to Ukraine’s Defense Forces, the city of Dnipro withstood the missile strike the Russian invasion forces launched overnight Monday.

That’s according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhiy Lysak, who posted a brief statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"Fascists. Terrorists. Inhumans. But, thanks to our Defense Forces, we withstood the attack," official wrote, promising to follow up on details later.

At the same time, Lysak added that "so far we are not commenting on anything", and urged residents to take seriously the rules of martial law.

As reported, explosions rang out in Dnipro as the air raid alert went off.
