Russians shell village in Kherson region, child killed

The Russian forces attacked the village of Zelenivka, Kherson region, killing a child and injuring two more people.

Andriy Yermak, the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The Russians killed a child in Kherson region. This happened as a result of the shelling in Zelenivka. Her father carried the child to the hospital in his arms. Two more people were injured. They were all near the shop. Russian terrorists continue to cynically kill civilians," Yermak wrote.

As reported, according to official data, as of the morning of May 17, 481 children were killed and 977 more were injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia’s full-scale aggression.
