Russians attack Kharkiv and Zolochiv with S-300 missiles

On the night of May 14, Russian troops launched missile attacks on Kharkiv city and Zolochiv village in Bohodukhiv district.

"Last night, the enemy launched missile strikes, according to preliminary data, from S-300 surface-to-air missile system on Kharkiv city and Zolochiv village in Bohodukhiv district," Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

As noted, a transport infrastructure object, a dormitory, and an apartment block in Kharkiv city were damaged.

In Zolochiv, two missiles hit the ground between residential buildings. Windows were broken in the houses, two garages were destroyed. There were no casualties, Syniehubov said.

He added that the enemy used artillery, mortars, and aircraft to shell the settlements of Kupyansk, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv districts of the region over the past day.

In particular, a private house was damaged by Smerch MLRS shelling of Kupyansk.

At least four private houses were damaged by shelling in the village of Khatnie, Kupyansk district, and a fire broke out. A 43-year-old woman was injured and hospitalized.

In Ohirtseve village, Chuhuiv district, a house was damaged, a 61-year-old man received shrapnel injuries and was hospitalized.

At least three houses were damaged in the shelling of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv district.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration added that demining works are ongoing in the region. Over the past day, bomb technicians of the State Emergency Service examined more than 10 ha of territory and defused 117 explosive objects.

As reported, at least two missiles fired from Belgorod at Kharkiv region around midnight exploded over the territory of Russia.
