Two UAVs attack military training ground in Russia’s Voronezh region

Overnight Wednesday, a military training ground in Voronezh region was attacked by a pair of drones carrying explosives.

Fourteen military servicemen were reportedly injured, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Baza Telegram channel.

"Two UAVs carrying explosives flew to the training ground where they exploded while descending. About 14 servicemen were injured. According to tentative reports, no one was killed," the report reads.

The channel also reported that earlier, on the approach to the military airfield in Voronezh region, an "unknown object" was shot down, which was flying at a 500m altitude. This happened on the morning of May 9, some 6 km from the airfield. The fragments of the object were sent for examination.

As reported, last week, the Ilsk oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar area was attacked by drones two days in a row. Both attacks caused fires at the facility.
