1,444 children killed and injured due to Russian aggression in Ukraine

As a result of the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, at least 1,444 children have been killed and injured.

"According to the official information from the juvenile prosecutors, 480 children have been killed and more than 964 have received injuries of varying degrees of severity," the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.

As noted, these figures are not final. The efforts are ongoing to establish casualties in the areas of military operations, in temporarily captured and liberated territories.

Most children were killed and injured in Donetsk region — 455, Kharkiv region — 275, Kyiv region — 128, Kherson region — 96, Zaporizhzhia region — 89, Mykolaiv region — 89, Chernihiv region — 70, Dnipropetrovsk region — 67, Luhansk region — 66.
