Russians shell five villages in Sumy and Chernihiv regions

In the early hours of May 6, Russian troops shelled five villages in border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, using artillery, mortars, and aviation.

The Operational Command “North” posted the update on Telegram.

In particular, from 10:15 to 10:30 in the area of Boyaro-Lezhachi village in Sumy region, there were four strikes, probably launched from a 120mm mortar.

In Chernihiv region, around 10:08, the invaders launched four strikes, presumably from a helicopter, on the area of Krasnyi Khutir village.

From 11:20 to 11:40, 13 strikes were recorded in the area of Zaliznyi Mist, presumably launched from tube artillery. According to preliminary data, a residential building and an outbuilding caught fire as a result of enemy shelling.

From 12:35 to 13:19, 11 strikes were launched, probably also from tube artillery on the area of Tymonovychi village, from 13:10 to 13:15 — two strikes, probably from a 120mm mortar in the area of Khrinivka.

There was no information about civilian casualties.

As reported, on the morning of May 6, Russian troops struck the border area of Chernihiv region from aircraft twice.
