Russians shell four communities of Sumy region on Friday

On Friday, April 21, Russian troops shelled four territorial communities of Sumy region.

The Sumy Regional Military Administration reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Throughout the day, the Russians shelled four border communities - Khotin, Bilopillia, Shalyhyne and Nova Sloboda communities. 114 hits from mortars, artillery, and grenade launchers were recorded," the report says.

In the morning, the enemy struck the outskirts of Kindrativka village in Khotin community with artillery – there were 4 hits. One person was injured in the shelling. The school premises were  damaged.

Shalyhyne community came under Russian artillery shelling – there were 8 hits.

The enemy launched seven attacks on Bilopillia community. Throughout the day, Russian forces attacked the community with grenade launchers (AGS) - 69 hits, and mortars - 29 hits.

Nova Sloboda community also came under artillery shelling – there were 4 hits.

As reported by Ukrinform, 12 regions of Ukraine came under Russian strikes throughout the day, casualties were reported.
