Russian troops withdraw two airborne units from Marinka section for recovery

According to intelligence data, Russian troops withdrew two airborne military units from Marinka section in Donetsk region for recovery.

"According to intelligence data, the enemy withdrew two airborne units that suffered losses from Marinka section for recovery, one of them is the 95th airborne regiment. It is also known about the redeployment of two convoys to the areas of Berdiansk and Melitopol. We monitor the situation and I think that in the near future we will hear completely different news about these convoys," Oleksiy Dmytrashkivskyi, head of the joint press center of the Defense Forces of Tavria area, said during the national news telethon citing intelligence data, Ukrinform reports with reference to ArmyInform.

Regarding Zaporizhzhia direction, he confirmed that the enemy continues to build fortifications there, creates defensive lines, without stopping for a day.

As reported, Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, the Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that during the spring-summer period, the Russian Federation will increase the quantitative and qualitative indicators of its troops, will continue to form strategic reserves and redeploy them to the borders of Ukraine and may also continue carrying out covert mobilization of the population.
