Four civilians injured in Russia's shelling of Toretsk

Russian troops struck a multi-story apartment building in Toretsk, Donetsk region, early on April 2, injuring four civilians.

According to Ukrinform, the Ukrainian Prosecutor General's Office said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app.

"At night in Toretsk, shells of the occupiers hit a multi-story building and damaged supply lines. As a result, one person was injured and three more were poisoned by carbon monoxide," the post said.

On April 2, the Russian army struck Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. The enemy fire killed three women and three men and left eight more citizens wounded.

According to preliminary data, the invaders carried out attacks on the cities using artillery, S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems, as well as Grad and Uragan multiple rocket launchers.

Law enforcement officers and rescuers are working at the scene of the strikes. All the injured were hospitalized.

Pre-trial investigations in criminal proceedings have been launched for violations of the laws and customs of war (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
