Fourteen explosions reported as Russians open fire on Chernihiv, Sumy regions

As of 04:00 p.m., April 1, 2023, Russian troops opened fire on the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions three times.

The relevant statement was made by the North Operational Command on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Between 12:10 p.m. and 12:25 p.m., Russian invaders launched four strikes, presumably with cannon artillery, near the Chernihiv region’s Karpovychi.

Additionally, between 12:20 p.m. and 12:25 p.m., three strikes were recorded near the Chernihiv region’s Bronyvy. The enemy presumably used the SPG recoilless gun.

Between 02:35 p.m. and 02:45 p.m., Russians launched seven strikes, presumably with self-propelled artillery, near the Sumy region’s Sydorivka.

No casualties among civilians were reported, as well as no damage caused to civil infrastructure.

A reminder that, on March 31, 2023, eight regions of Ukraine were affected by Russian attacks.
