Russians shell two villages in Chernihiv region

Russian troops shelled two border villages in the Chernihiv region on March 26.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's North Operational Command said this in a Telegram post.

"Two attacks by Russian troops on the border area of the Chernihiv region were recorded as of 20:00 on March 26," the report reads.

From 14:40 to 15:00, the Russians probably used a 120 mm mortar to shell the area of the village of Karpovychi, firing three mines. The shelling damaged a private house. There were no reports about losses among the local population.

From 17:25 to 17:55, the enemy shelled the area of the village of Bleshnia, probably with a 120 mm mortar, firing eight mines. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.

On March 24, Russian troops fired on the border area of the Chernihiv region, killing a local resident.
