Swedish Parliament approves military aid to Ukraine

The Swedish Parliament on Thursday approved the donation of military equipment to Ukraine.

Riksdag reported this, Ukrinform says.

As noted, the Swedish government can provide Ukraine with military equipment worth a maximum of SEK 6.2 billion (about $550 million).

The aid will include tanks, Archer and Robot 97 artillery systems, and ammunition. In addition, Sweden may decide to sell 14 Archer artillery systems to the United Kingdom. The latter has previously provided Ukraine with artillery systems of this type.
