Zelensky responds to Russian nighttime drone attack against Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that the success of Ukrainian forces on land, in the air and at sea really brings peace closer, and full compliance with the sanctions regime against Russia really restores the force of the UN Charter.

The head of state said this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.

"Over 20 Iranian murderous drones, plus missiles, numerous shelling occasions, and that's just in one last night of Russian terror against Ukraine. Every time someone tries to hear the word "peace" in Moscow, another order is given there for such criminal strikes," Zelensky said.

He added that "the success of Ukrainian forces on the land, in the sky and at sea really brings peace closer."

"Full compliance with the sanctions regime against Russia really restores the force of the UN Charter. Global unity can restore global stability," Zelensky said.

The enemy launched another massive attack on Ukraine using Shahed 136 drones early on March 22. According to preliminary information, the Ukrainian Armed Forces destroyed 16 out of 21 drones launched by the Russians.
