At night, Russian troops shelled two communities in Dnipropetrovsk region, hitting an energy facility.

"The Russian army continues to fight with civilians. At night, the enemy hit Nikopol district with rockets and heavy artillery. People are safe, but an enterprise and houses were damaged," Serhiy Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

Lysak noted that the invaders were targeting Pokrovske community. An energy facility was hit and suffered severe destruction. A fire broke out and has been already put out. Three settlements of the district are partially without electricity supply. Power engineers work to restore it.

"The enemy also struck Chervonohryhorivka community with heavy artillery twice. Transport and agricultural enterprises, an administrative building, three private houses and the same number of outbuildings, cars, power lines were damaged," he added.

As a reminder, the Russian troops keep trying to encircle the city of Bakhmut. The invaders focus their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions. Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 102 attacks in these directions.
