Russian army shells Kherson region almost 90 times in past day

On March 1, the Russian army shelled Kherson region 87 times using mortars, multiple launch rocket systems, artillery, tanks and unmanned aerial vehicles.

This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.  

"The Russian army struck Kherson region 87 times. Almost 500 shells from mortars, MLRS, artillery, tanks and UAVs were fired at peaceful settlements in the region," the report says.

Russian forces struck Kherson twice. Private and apartment buildings in the city were damaged.

According to the regional administration, Russia’s shelling injured 11 people in Kherson region yesterday, including a one-year-old baby. The child's face and ears were injured by shards of glass. Now the boy is in the hospital, his life is not in danger.

As Ukrinform reported, Russian forces shelled Chornobaivka and Zmiivka in Kherson region on March 1.
