Invaders strike Myrnohrad, Avdiivka in Donetsk region

Russian forces have struck the settlements of Myrnohrad and Avdiivka in the Donetsk region, damaging houses, a stadium, a store, and a kindergarten in the region.

According to Ukrinform, Donetsk regional governor Pavlo Kyrylenko said this in a Telegram post and published photos of the destruction.

"Myrnohrad was hit by two missiles. According to preliminary information, the Russians used S-300 missiles. They damaged four private houses and a stadium. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties. [...] There were isolated hits in Avdiivka overnight, and in the morning, there were two massive shelling attacks on residential and industrial zones," Kyrylenko wrote.

He noted that Vuhledar, Novoukrainka and Bohoiavlenka had come under fire in the Volnovakha area. In the Donetsk sector, enemy forces shelled the Kurakhove territorial community, injuring one person and damaging four houses in Hirnyk, damaging a house and a shop in Hostre, and damaging a house in Kurakhivka. Shelling was also recorded last night in the Marinka and Ocheretyne communities, and in the Lysychansk sector, there was shelling of Siversk and the outskirts of the community.

"In the Horlivka area, one person was injured and three houses were damaged in Kostiantynivka, another house was damaged in Predtechyne. In Bakhmut, nine apartment buildings and kindergartens were damaged throughout the day. Six houses were damaged in Vasiukivka of the Soledar territorial community," Kyrylenko said.
