Russian ammo depot destroyed in Mariupol at night

In Mariupol, an ammunition depot of the Russian army was destroyed near the airport.

The Mariupol City Council and Petro Andriushchenko, advisor to Mariupol mayor, posted relevant information on Telegram, clarifying the results of the explosions that occurred in Mariupol after 22:00 on February 21.

"Information on night explosions in Mariupol. The data were confirmed that an ammunition depot of the occupiers had been destroyed near the airport," the Mariupol City Council posted on Telegram.

"A total of 12 explosions were heard. Of them, two are definitely the result of the occupation's air defense systems. An ammunition depot at the Mariupol airport was hit and excellent detonation sounds followed. A base of the occupiers in the territory of Ilyich Iron and Steel Works was also struck," Andriushchenko wrote.

According to him, the invaders raised their aircraft into the sky at night, machine-gun rounds were heard, and the movement of enemy equipment was also spotted.

As reported, a series of explosions rang out in temporarily occupied Mariupol on the evening of February 21.
