War update: Russian troops continue offensive actions in five directions

Russian troops continue focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in such directions as Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka.

The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Over the past day, Russian invaders have launched 41 air strikes and three missile strikes, including two on civil infrastructure in the Donetsk region’s Kramatorsk. The enemy also opened fire with multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) 32 times, namely on civil infrastructure in the Donetsk and Kherson regions.

In the Volyn, Polissia, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the situation remained unchanged. No enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Over 20 settlements came under enemy fire, namely the Chernihiv region’s Hai, the Sumy region’s Seredyna Buda, Brusky, Atynske and Stepok, and the Kharkiv region’s Udy, Veterynarne, Kozacha Lopan, Mali Prokhody, Starytsia and Dvorichna.

In the Kupiansk and Lyman directions, Russian troops opened fire near the Kharkiv region’s Kupiansk and Pishchane, and the Luhansk region’s Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Chervonopopivka, Dibrova, Serebrianske forestry.

In the Bakhmut direction, Russian invaders shelled the Donetsk region’s Mykolaivka, Spirne, Vesele, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Pivnichne and Maiorsk.

In the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions, the enemy used tanks, mortars and artillery to attack the Donetsk region’s Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Bohoiavlenka, Novomykhailivka, Zolota Nyva, Prechystivka and Vuhledar.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Russian troops opened fire on the Donetsk region’s Vremivka and Novopil, and the Zaporizhzhia region’s Olhivske, Huliaipole, Stepove, Shcherbaky, Novoandriivka, Orikhiv and Charivne.

In the Kherson direction, sixteen settlements came under enemy fire, namely Kachkarivka, Tokarivka, Veslele, Antonivka, Berehove and Kherson.
