Russian troops shell Kupiansk again, woman injured

“The enemy does not stop the terror of the civilian population in border towns and villages of Kharkiv region. Today, around 07:00, the occupiers shelled Kupiansk again. A 67-year-old woman was injured," Syniehubov wrote.

In addition, as a result of the morning shelling, a 46-year-old employee of the State Emergency Service was wounded in the village of Kruhliakivsk, Kupiansk district.

In addition, according to the regional governor, the Russians shelled the village of Kozacha Lopan, damaging a village council’s building. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.

Over the past day, Russian invaders shelled Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Strilecha, Dvorichna, Starytsia, Ohirtseve and other settlements of the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv districts.

"Mostly private residential buildings came were under fire. Many houses were damaged, windows were broken, and farm buildings were destroyed," Syniehubov wrote.

He also reported that the Ukrainian forces are firmly holding their positions on the front line and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

As reported by Ukrinform, on February 1, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near 14 settlements in Luhansk and Donetsk regions.
