The Russian military struck the residential neighborhoods of Kherson city and Kherson district, killing and injuring civilians.

"The Russian army once again shelled the residential neighborhoods of Kherson city and Kherson district," the Kherson Regional Military Administration informs.

It is noted that a car with a man and a woman inside was damaged with debris from an exploded Russian projectile in Suvorovsky district of Kherson city. The man was hospitalized, the woman died on the spot.

The Russian military also shelled the village of Komyshany, injuring three people. A 25-year-old woman died from her injuries.

A pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with intentional murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation data, on January 27, the invaders launched another attack on Kherson city and populated settlements of the region.

As a result, two women were killed and at least five civilians were injured. Several people were hospitalized with serious injuries.

Civilian infrastructure objects, including a hospital and residential buildings, were damaged.

As reported, over the past day, Russian invaders shelled the territory of Kherson region 38 times, killing two people and injuring seven more.
