Two civilians killed as invaders hit Chasiv Yar

Two people were killed and five more were injured during the enemy shelling of the town of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region this morning.

"Two people were killed and at least five more were injured in the Russian shelling of Chasiv Yar town. The shelling began around 09:00 and lasted for over an hour and a half. A dozen houses, premises and buildings of institutions and public services, cars were damaged," Pavlo Kyrylenko, Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram and published photos of the destruction.

Moreover, strikes on Avdiivka, Toretsk, Oleksandropil, and Bohoyavlenka in Donetsk region were recorded.

According to Kyrylenko, the Russians shelled Avdiivka town center with artillery around 09:00 and fired Grad MLRS with cluster munitions on it a few hours later. Casualties have not been reported.

"Fortunately, nobody was injured in Nelipivka, Toretsk territorial community. Houses and outbuildings were damaged there. The Russians struck Oleksandropil in Ocheretyne community and Bohoyavlenka, near Vuhledar, with MLRS. Information about the consequences of these attacks is being clarified," the Administration’s head noted.

He emphasized that the enemy is deliberately destroying towns and villages in Donetsk region.

As reported, on January 26, Russian invaders killed six residents of Donetsk region and injured nine more.
