Ukraine’s Air Force launches 27 strikes on enemy positions today

Today, January 19, the Air Force of Ukraine launched 21 strikes on the areas of concentration of Russian forces, as well as 6 strikes on the positions of their anti-aircraft missile systems.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in an evening update on Facebook on January 19, Ukrinform reports

“Aircraft of the Defense Forces launched 21 strikes on the areas of concentration of the enemy, as well as 6 strikes on the positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, our rocket troops and artillery struck 6 command posts, 7 areas of concentration of the enemy and an ammunition depot of the occupiers,” the report says.  

During the current day, Russian troops carried out four missile strikes, two of them on the civilian infrastructure of Matviivka, Zaporizhzhia region, and launched 15 air strikes. In addition, the enemy launched more than 30 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

There is still a threat of enemy air strikes and missile attacks throughout Ukraine,” the General Staff said.

The enemy continues to suffer significant manpower losses. In particular, in the hospital in Novosvitlivka, Luhansk region, there are more than 200 wounded from among the recently forcibly mobilized residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region.

As earlier reported, the activity of enemy aircraft was recoded over temporarily captured villages near Mariupol.
