Five killed, nine injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine over past day
On January 17, 2023, five civilians were killed and nine injured in Russian attacks on the territory of Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to the data from regional military administrations, five civilians were killed and one injured (recovered from under the rubble of the apartment block in Dnipro) in the Dnipropetrovsk region, two injured in the Donetsk region, one injured in the Zaporizhzhia region, one injured in the Kharkiv region, four injured in the Kherson region.
A reminder that, on January 14, 2023, a 9-storey apartment block was struck by a Russian missile in the city of Dnipro. Twenty-eight civilians are now in hospital, and 10 of them are in critical condition. The youngest victim was just 11 months old.
